Thank you!!!
Thank you to our vendors. We're honoured you trusted us with your business. Many of you are returning vendors and that means a lot to us knowing we have a base of vendors who value this event we host every year. We hope we met your expectations this year, and look forward to seeing you in the future.
Thank you to our small but mighty team of volunteers. This event couldn't have happened without you!!! From the manual labour of setting up, to decorating, to cooking, baking and serving food. To selling raffle tickets and getting the word out there in the community. To adding even more work to our plate by putting forward the new ides of pictures with Santa and a pancake breakfast!! All of you helped make this bazaar the best one yet!!
Thank you to the local businesses who donated prizes for our raffle. Fidélice Aylmer with two gift cards of $50 each. L'As des jeux and Pärlē - Bistro ludique for five $10 gift cards each. La Vieille Alliance gave us a $30 gift card. Presotea Gatineau Aylmer location on Vanier gave us two $25 gift cards and a number of other gift items. And a thank you to Starbucks at Vanier and Allumetieres for their donation of free coffee for all of our bazaar guests. These generous donations brought an element of fun, anticipation and chance of winning such excellent prizes to our raffle. (And the coffee helped keep our early morning volunteers awake!)
To our community members who came out for a morning of shopping, pancakes and Santa!! We thank you for joining us and making this such a successful bazaar!!
A huge thank you to the school staff who helped out especially (but certainly not limited to) our principal Erick Tremblay, Amelie Girard (our printer and laminator extraordinaire) and Norma Splane (the master of keys and knower of all things South Hull )
This little bazaar started out in 2018, when I was a brand new parent at South Hull. I'd like to thank Chloe O'Shaughnessey for being my partner in getting this whole thing started up back then (and for cooking 350 pancakes for the pancake breakfast this year). I'm really proud of this event we've built up over the past seven years (especially given we were interrupted with that pandemic!). This is my last year as a parent at South Hull and I look forward to seeing how this new tradition will continue on. I'll be watching from the customer (or maybe vendor) side in the future.
Thank you again to everyone mentioned and those that I surely missed. It was the best bazaar we've put out so far and I'm truly grateful to everyone who helped make that possible!!
