2. Adoption of agenda

3. Financial Update (Cathy):

Current Balance after earmarked funds : $ 367.06 

• Indoor Bikes: Celine: Money left over from indoor bikes , sharing bikes will not be possible, they would have to be in the classrooms and disinfected, then moved to another class
• $ 1500 being transferred in from gear sales 

4. Website update (Kathleen) and Membership (Deborah):

• Kathleen: website setup last year with online shop and purchasing made available. SouthHullHS.ca – all our info is there and membership application and payment can be done through this site. Most recent update, cafeteria ordering has been added to the site, form and order can be sent in through website.
• Chloe-Members will remain memebers till November, cost of new membership is 20$. Need to be a member to be part of the executive.
• Nick, should we give some thought to facilitate the membership process? If online will be an issue perhaps we can come up with another option.
• Kathleen: hopefully will setup using paypal on our website

 
5. Subway and Pizza Days (Cathy):

• Cathy: We are able to run it, we just need to make sure the school is okay with it.
• Celine: possible, some teachers are volunteering to get food to classes once the food comes in, will confirm within a few days.
• Cathy: will likely have to consider what to do if there is classroom closure due to covid, how do we deal with that.

6. Cafeteria (Cathy): 

• Cathy: I talk with Peggy from the cafeteria, business has been slow and that might be due to our website taking over orders, or perhaps more folks are making their kids lunch. If this continues then Peggy might not renew her contract.
• Celine: we would have to check with public health to see if we can allow cash orders back, since handling money and food is a big risk for the people receiving the food.
• Kathleen: Same day orders might be done online, but because this is a new system then this may come down the line, but not yet 
• Cathy: we had to trim down the form because parents were being very specific (and hence time consuming) in their orders and difficult to deal deliver on time.
• Celine: I will reach out to public health to ask about volunteers, restaurant food and handling cash.
• Mark: We can set a hard deadline for parents to pick ahead of time the orders for the coming week or two, that might help with time and logistics for Peggy.
• Cathy: one way to promote purchases is to add a paper copy of the menu to each child, so the parents have it on hand (on fridge or whatever). 

 
7. QFHSA: (Brian)

• Parents in Montreal have taken the school board to court because of risk to their children. Waiting for results on this Thursday. This is an appeal.

 
8. Events that we can hold this year:

• Nick: Turn this to Cathy and Chloe, can you share what we discussed
• Cathy: we did not have anything specific, difficult to find something that is accepted by public health, probably the only time of fundraiser we can get going due to covid. 
• Deborah: getting a raffle and getting donations from companies and gifts from folks, this might be very challenging due to covid. The Greeting card idea might work well, the kids draw an image and the company makes it into a greeting card, and parents can then purchase the greeting card with the image on the card.
• Leigh-Anne , Chapters-Indigo has setup an online fundraiser with money going back to the school, will look into it and provide it next time.
• Cathy: recipe in a jar, money maker and works well.
• Chris: Outdoor movie night? Renting a big screen or just projecting on the wall of the school.

 
9. Round Table:
